MRPeasy achieves 200 UK customers milestone
MRPeasy.com, is proud to announce that it has achieved the impressive landmark of 200 customers in the UK. Coming just 2-years on from celebrating 100 UK customers, this marks significant growth for the provider of cloud-based, affordable, and user-friendly ERP/MRP software for small and medium manufacturers and distributors. The success continues globally as the company has also chalked up 300 customer in the US. MRPeasy offers a cost effective solution to common challenges faced by growing SME manufacturers. A sustained growth path in the UK since its first customer implementation in 2014 is resulting in a broad range of SMEs realising the benefits of a manufacturing ERP solution. The system fills an important need for small manufacturing businesses in all sectors that are experiencing growth, which requires a step up from using spreadsheets. Manufacturers use MRPeasy to automate many clerical tasks and processes that would otherwise require heaps of manual data-entry. This saves a fair amount of time that can be re-allocated to something more important, as Paul Ryder, Managing Director of Utility Meters Warehouse, Ltd explained: “MRPeasy allows us to track our manufacturing costs and sales with ease. We are very happy with the product as it saves our employees a lot of time. It helped us to get rid of a lot of paperwork and it syncs very well with our previous accounting system, Xero.” A wide selection of third-party integrations from accounting apps to e-commerce and fulfilment platforms allows users to substantially expand the existing functionality.

Software designed for business growth of SME manufacturers needs to be scaleable, and offer the necessary support – areas where Simon Cole, Commercial Operations Manager at Vivacity Labs, can report satisfaction. He said: “We have been really happy with the service from MRPeasy and the system’s inherent scaleability. We are not afraid to move and change quickly as a company, but for our MRP at least, we don’t expect to be looking elsewhere for quite a period.” Given how many companies are new to ERP/MRP, it is vital to provide an accessible system that offers benefits that are accessible so the investment can be maximised – there is little point in a system that is too complex for staff to use, as Lee Brien, Director of Operations at A Wrate Engineering said: “I think one of the biggest values of MRPeasy is communicated in their name – compared to other systems, it is incredibly easy to master,” he says. “I would certainly recommend it to other manufacturers as it’s so cost-effective and easy to learn.”

For most manufacturers, an ERP/MRP platform is the backbone that brings together in a single place all the information and activity around production planning and execution, stocks and inventories, customers and orders, suppliers and purchases, costs and finances. It gives management visibility by monitoring and reporting what is going on. Andy Nancollis, co-founder of Motion Impossible, described MRPeasy as “like a silent partner for us”. He added: ”We just couldn’t do a job without it, as it provides us with all the accurate information we need for the products we build. It also helps us find holes in our process and fix them.” These are just some of the reasons why MRPeasy potential for UK growth is set to continue, according to Sara Duff, UK Business Development Manager at MRPeasy.com. She said: “There remains a large number of SME manufacturers and suppliers across all sectors of the highly dynamic UK market that are seeking to take their first step away from spread sheets to a cloud-based ERP. Those companies that take that step will find enormous benefits that contribute to their continued successful growth.”
